The Sports Network FCS Preseason All-America Teams

Southern Illinois junior tight end MyCole Pruitt has been selected to The Sports Network's FCS Preseason All-America Second Team, The Sports Network announced today. Pruitt led SIU with 49 receptions and ranked fourth nationally among tight ends with 577 yards last season.

The honors continue to add up for Pruitt who was a third-team All-American selection by The Sports Network following the 2012 season. Earlier this offseason, Pruitt was named to the College Football Performance Awards Tight End Award watch list.

Pruitt is the first Saluki to be named a preseason All-American by The Sports Network since 2011 when Bryan Boemer, Mike McElroy and David Pickard all earned the honor.
