    In celebration of 100 years of SIU football, Saluki Athletics continues to reveal the roster for the SIU All-Century football team with today’s announcement of the team’s seven offensive linemen and four wide receivers/tight ends.

    The All-Century team offensive linemen are Tom Baugh, Bryan Boemer, Will Justice, Jim Lovin, Aaron Lockwood, Elmer McDaniel and David Pickard. The four wide receivers/tight ends are Lionel Antoine, Cornell Craig, Kevin House and Damon Jones.

    Baugh is a Saluki Hall of Famer and played four years in the NFL. In addition to playing on the 1983 National Championship team, he was an honorable mention All-American and a First-Team All-Conference selection.

    Boemer was also an All-American and won the FCS Rimington Award, which is given annually to the nation’s best center.

    Justice was an All-American and a First-Team All-Conference selection.

    Lovin was a four-year starter on both sides of the ball and never missed a snap in his career. He was also the first Saluki football player to have his jersey retired.

    Lockwood was a two-time First-Team All-Conference selection.

    McDaniel was a two-time All-American and a two-time First-Team All-Conference selection.

    Pickard was an All-American who made one First-Team All-Conference team and one Second-Team All-Conference team.

    Antoine played eight years in the NFL and is a member of the Saluki Hall of Fame. He was a two-time All-American and twice led the team in receiving.

    Craig, a Saluki Hall of Famer, was the National Player of the Year. He was also a unanimous selection for All-American honors and a First-Team All-Conference selection. He is Southern’s all-time leader in receptions (207), receiving yards (3,508) and touchdowns (37).


     

     

    House is a member of the Saluki Hall of Fame and enjoyed an eight-year NFL career. He was a First-Team All-Conference selection. House averaged 21.46 yards per reception, most in school history. He is also sixth all-time with 1,524 yards and seventh all-time with 11 touchdowns.

    Jones, the only tight end on the All-Century team, played five years in the NFL. He was an All-American and a First-Team All-Conference selection. His 99 catches rank 10th in SIU history. He is also fifth all-time in receiving yards with 1,542 and 12th in touchdowns with nine.

    On Tuesday, the All-Century defensive linemen will be the next positions announced.
