    CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois tight end MyCole Pruitt has been named the Tight End Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards. Pruitt had eight catches for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns in SIU's 40-37 double overtime loss to Eastern Illinois on Saturday.

    In the game, he also broke the school record for career receptions by a tight end, establishing the new mark at 105.

    Pruitt was named the CFPA Tight End Performer of the Week once last year and has been an honorable mention five times over the past two seasons.
