    CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois senior quarterback Kory Faulkner has been invited to participate in the Medal of Honor Bowl in Charleston, S.C. on Jan. 11. The postseason college all-star game will feature many of the nation's top NFL draft-eligible college football players. The event will be hosted by The Citadel at Johnson Hagood Stadium.

    In 2013, Faulkner led the MVFC with 221.9 passing yards per game and 248.2 yards of total offense per game. His 18 touchdown passes are the sixth-highest single-season total in school history. He finished the season ranked fourth in SIU history in career passing yards with 5,347 yardsand tied for fifth in school history with 34 career touchdown passes.
