    The Southern Illinois men's and women's golf teams are set for a big week of action. Both the men's and women's teams head to Primm, Nev., for the Jackrabbit Invitational on March 11-12. The remaining members of the men's team will head to Jackson, Tenn., for the Grover Page Classic on the same dates. The women's team will stay in Nevada for the Bison Invitational at Paiute on March 14-15.

    The Jackrabbit Invitational, hosted by South Dakota State, is a 54-hole tournament at the Primm Valley Golf Course. The men will play on the Desert Course and the women wil play on the Lakes Course. The men's field includes 14 teams, including Missouri Valley Conference foes Illinois State, Drake and Creighton. The women's field is 13 teams, including MVC competition Drake and Creighton.

    The women's team stays in Nevada for the Bison Invitational at Paiute, hosted by Bucknell. The tournament will feature 36 holes, one round on each day of the tournament on March 14-15.

    While the men's team seniors and junior Caleb Harms went to Nevada, men's head coach Leroy Newton went to Jackson, Tenn., with the rest of the men's team for the Grover Page Classic, hosted by Tennessee-Martin. The tournament will be played at the Jackson Country Club.
