Davis won’t arrive until January, but he will be well worth the wait as this highly recruited runner is expected to be a standout in the 400 meters and immediately strengthen the team’s chances for a Missouri Valley Conference title. Has a personal best time’s of 46.26 seconds in the 400 meter run and 21.15 seconds in the 200 meter run.

Shaw H.S.: Was an All-American, all-stater, and all-conference selection in track and field, as well as a 1,000 point scorer and all-stater in basketball.

Personal: Plans to major in physical education. Son of Willie and Lou Anne Davis. Born April 7, 1980.
