Amanda Hanneman enters her second season as the video coordinator for Saluki women's basketball in 2014-15.

Hanneman came to Carbondale after spending two seasons as the head assistant coach at Sonoma State. Prior to Sonoma State, Hanneman spent the 2010-11 season as a volunteer coach at Avila University where she helped guide the Eagles to a 20-13 record, a Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament title, and an appearance in the NAIA Division I National Tournament.

Before she began her foray into coaching, Hanneman was a standout on the hardwood at Missouri. A two-year starter for the Tigers, Hanneman earned four letters at Mizzou between 2006 and 2010. She scored 554 career points in 93 games for the Tigers, and she ranks seventh in Mizzou history with 113 career 3-pointers.

Hanneman earned her bachelor's degree in agriculture, food and natural resources from Mizzou in 2010. She is pursuing a master's degree at SIU in sports studies.
