Paige Mesalam enters her first year as a graduate assistant with Saluki women's basketball

Mesalam comes to Carbondale after spending the 2011-12 academic year as a graduate assistant for basketball support services at Gonzaga University. At Gonzaga, she assisted with academic support for the men's and women's basketball teams, including academic progress and eligibility.

Prior to Gonzaga, Mesalam spent four seasons as a manager for the Western Kentucky men's basketball team as an undergraduate. She received a bachelor's degree in corporate and organizational communication from WKU in December 2010.
