    ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Southern Illinois women's basketball team garnered three All-Missouri Valley Conference honors the league released Wednesday.

    Senior guard/forward Stephany Neptune was named Second-Team All-MVC, senior guard Christine Presswood was named Honorable Mention All-MVC and freshman guard Teri Oliver was named to the MVC All-Freshman Team.

    Neptune is the only player in the league to average a double-double, leading the league with 10.9 rebounds per contest and 11.5 points. The transfer also leads the team in assists (137), blocks (34) and steals (66). Neptune has garnered five Newcomer of the Week honors this season, tallying 12 double-doubles and three times was one assist shy of a triple double. She ranks 14th in the country in rebounds per game, ranked fifth all-time at SIU.

    Presswood leads the Salukis in scoring at 15.9 points per contest, second in the league this season. The junior college transfer has recorded 19 double-digit efforts in 26 games, including 13 20-plus efforts. Her 74 3-pointers this season rank second all-time in a season at SIU and her 3-point percentage is top-30 in the country and fourth in The Valley. She was also named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team, earning honorable mention honors.

    Oliver is second on the team in scoring this season at 13.2 points per contest, recording 20 double-figure games this season in 27 games. The rookie has made 71 threes this year, ranking third all-time among all freshmen in the MVC. Oliver leads the Salukis at the free-throw line at 79 percent (49-of-62).
