Rushing, Rennegarbe earn spots on MVC Scholar-Athlete TeamCassie Rushing was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete First Team on Thursday, and Shaina Rennegarbe earned a spot on the honorable mention team, the conference announced Thursday. Both Rushing and Rennegarbe were All-Conference honorees at the MVC Championship, as well.

Salukis finish MVC Championship tied for thirdThe Southern Illinois women's golf team tied for third place at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship on Tuesday. Cassie Rushing and Shaina Rennegarbe earned All-Conference recognition after tying for fifth at the conference tournament.

SIU one stroke back entering final round of MVC ChampionshipThe Southern Illinois women's golf team is in second place after the first two rounds of the three-round Missouri Valley Conference Championships, one shot out of first place. Cassie Rushing shot even-par 72 today and is tied for the tournament lead heading into tomorrow's final round.

Southern in second place at MVC Championships after first roundThe Southern Illinois women's golf team is in second place after the first round of the MVC Championships. Mattie Lindner and Cassie Rushing are both among the top-10 individuals to lead the Salukis, who are just one stroke behind tournament leader Wichita State.
