    KANSAS CITY -- Saluki women's golf will make the trek to the University of Missouri-Kansas City on Monday for the two-day UMKC Fall Invitational at the Shoal Creek Country Club golf course (6,124-yards, par 72) in the hopes of bouncing back with a high finish.

    A total of 60 golfers will compete in the tournament, and nine schools will field squads in Kansas City: Bradley, Cal State Bakersfield, Drake, UMKC, Northern Illinois, Nebraska-Omaha, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois and William Jewell College.

    Competing for Southern will be seniors Ashleigh Rushing and Cassie Rushing, junior Kris Grimes, and freshmen Brooke Cusumano and Xianmei Jin. Sophomore Mattie Lindner will also compete as an individual.

    Competition begins Monday morning at 8 a.m.
