Cristina Trapani was named Coordinator of Athletic Facilities for Saluki Athletics in March of 2013. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all athletic facilities, event and game day operations, championships and auxiliary facility rentals.
As a Saluki student-athlete, Trapani excelled on the field as well as in the classroom garnering CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-American honors her senior year for the Softball team.

Wrapped up her senior season holding a .268 batting average with nine doubles, nine home runs, 37 RBI, 77 total bases...had a .503 slugging percentage and .353 on base percentage....hit a walk off grand slam to start the season off with a win against Ohio at the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational...finished her career 10th all time in career home runs with 19....scored a career high six RBIs against Indiana State on April 16 including a grand slam....named first team CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-America, which was the first Saluki named to the first team since 2004....graduated with honors with a 4.0 GPA in finance in May 2011.

Appeared in 47 games, starting 36...posted a .255 batting average with seven doubles and eight home runs and 21 RBIs....had a .559 slugging percentage and .336 on base percentage...hit a grand slam against Illinois-Chicago in the Coach B classic (3/7)...set a career high five at bats against SIU-Edwardsville (4/29).
2009 / Sophomore
Saw action in 11 games and made 7 starts...had 21 at-bats with one home run and an RBI...tied career total bases with four verses Gardner-Webb (2/15) and hit a home run to help propel the Salukis to a 9-0 win...set a career-high four at-bats against UC-Riverside (2/7).
2008 / Freshman
Played in 17 games and made 10 starts in her first season...hit .207 (6-for-29) with a double, home run and three RBI...had five walks and a sacrifice bunt...recorded her first collegiate hit and run scored against Minnesota (2/9)...delivered her first-career double and home run against Idaho State on March 7 & 9 at the Malhini Kipa Aloha Tournament in Honolulu, Hawaii...had a season-high two hits and two runs against Idaho State (3/9).
Herrin High School
Named all-conference four years...four-year all-south selection...three-year Illinois All-State...set record for single season batting average (.522) during senior year...holds record for career batting average (.472)...two-time regional champion...compiled 14 home runs and 75 runs batted in during four years on varsity.
