JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Due to inclement weather, all remaining games at the Jacksonville Invitational have been cancelled -- including SIU's two matchups against UIC and Savannah State on Sunday.

The Salukis trailed UIC 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning this morning when the rain began, which was not long enough to be considered an official game. SIU currently stands at 5-6 on the year after splitting two games yesterday against Bethune-Cookman (W, 12-2, five innings) and Jacksonville (L, 9-2).

Southern returns to Carbondale to host the Coach B Classic on March 1-2 at Charlotte West Stadium.
