CARBONDALE, Ill.-- The Southern Illinois softball team went 1-1 Saturday at the Illinois Collegiate Championship in Bloomington, Ill.
The split puts SIU in the gold bracket for Sunday, when the Salukis play their final games of the fall season. Southern will face Missouri Valley Conference foe Illinois State at 12:30 p.m. and will face either DePaul or Illinois-Chicago at 3 p.m.
