    Women's Tennis coach Audra Nothwehr signs contract

    Nothwehr led the SIU women's tennis program to the school's winningest season in 2012.

    Enters her second season as graduate assistant after serving as a student assistant coach in 2010-11.

    2009-10: Finished the season with a 9-4 singles mark after missing the first month and a half of the season with an injury...Tied for the team lead in conference singles with a 5-2 mark...Won five straight matches from March 11 through April 3...Finished college career by winning four of final five singles matches...Finished with a 6-3 doubles record with Anastacia Simons.

    2008-09: Recorded a 13-8 record in singles play, mainly as the No. 4 player...In doubles, Cruise was 14-10, as she spent the season paired with Jessica Flannery.

    2007-08:Compiled a 11-10 record primarily at No. 3 singles...Partnered primarily with Martina Vianna Ce at No. 2 doubles, posting a 10-12 record.

    2006-07: Posted a 9-6 singles record in her first year at SIU...Paired with Jessica Flannery for a 4-6 doubles record.

    Prior to SIU: As a sophomore at Cardinal Newman high school, Cruise won 2A state singles title.
