2011-12: Played in 32 singles matches, finishing 15-17 on the year...2-5 in the MVC...19-14 in doubles play, primarily with partner Natasha Tomishima.
2010-11: Earned an 11-13 singles record in her second year...Played 20 matches at the No. 3 slot, while playing four matches at the No. 2 slot...Finished 3-4 in the MVC...Won all but two matches in straight sets...Finished 12-11 in doubles matches, playing all but one match at the No. 1 slot with Melanie Delsart.

2009-10: Earned a 12-9 singles record, good for second-best on the team...Only player to play at least one match in five different singles positions...Notched a 6-2 mark in No. 4 singles...Began season with an 11-3 record, with all but two wins coming in straight sets...First collegiate singles win came on Feb. 14 against SIU-Edwardsville's Ali Wulfers, 8-0, in a time-shortened match...Finished with a 14-8 doubles record with Jessica Flannery...Won five straight doubles matches from March 24 through April 7.
Prior to SIU: At Shawnee Mission West, Dien was a combined 43-8 in singles play between her sophomore and junior years...Dien was named second team all-state and second team all-conference for doubles.
Personal:Majoring in Psychology...Minoring in Marketing...Daughter of Sam Dien and Nuong Duong, who are both business managers...Both parents are of Vietnamese heritage...Also participated in ice skating and soccer, in addition to volunteering her time with the Youth Volunteer Corps.
