Cincinnati, Ohio - The Salukis just fell short of picking up their first victory of the year as they were defeated in a hard fought match by Cincinnati.

Senior Tana Trapani picked up her first win of the early spring season as she defeated Julie Kauck, 7-5, 6-1, at the No. 4 spot, while sophomore Zuzana Palovic contributed by knocking off Kirby Doron 6-0, 6-3.

Along with Blanco sophomore Zoya Honarmand also pushed her match against Jill Klauck to a third set super tie breaker, but was defeated in a grueling match, 3-6, 6-4, 13-11.
