Saluki Sophomore, Melanie Delsaert, went 0-2 in the Saluki Fall Draw. Coach Nothwehr said of Delsart. "Melanie showed a lot of improvement and positivity is her first match against SLU."

The Salukis went 2-2 in team doubles with Southern Illinois's Melanie Delsart and Jennifer Dien defeating Janelle Prisner and Merritt Whitley of Eastern Illinois (8-3) and then falling to St. Louis University's Casey Miller and Jenny Nalepa (8-5). Salukis Anita Lee and Anastacia Simons lost to Amanda Dibbs and Jennifer Kim of Eastern Illinois (8-6), before defeating Hailee Elmore and Kasia Tomalak of St. Louis University (8-5).

Coach Nothwehr's thoughts of her teams performance at the Saluki Fall Draw; "Overall I thought we were just unfocused at times. Its a lot of matches for one day and I thought we could have had better focus for some of these matches. But in the end it was a good warmup for the ITA Regionals starting on thursday."
