Kristie Kemner led the Salukis last week with two double-double performances against Indiana State (11 kills, 16 digs, 2 block assists) on Friday, October 20, and against Illinois State (15 kills, 12 digs, 4 block assists) on Saturday, October 21. Over the weekend, Kemner averaged 13 kills, 14 digs, and 3 block assists.
Megan Baumstark averaged 33 assists, 4.5 digs, and 3 kills in the two weekend matches. Jenny Noel played well against Illinois State with 8 kills, 6 digs, 3 block assists, and a solo block, while hitting .316. The Salukis will play three road games in four days road, hoping to end a six game MVC losing streak against Wichita State on Friday, October 27. SIU's lone conference win this season was against the Shockers on September 30. The Salukis haven1t won a match since that contest.
