ST. LOUIS--Southern Illinois volleyball player Hannah Kaminsky has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the week the league announced Monday.

The freshman recorded a total of 29 digs for Southern to average 2.90 per set. Kaminsky also dished out 127 assists in 10 sets for an average of 12.70 per set.
