SIU hosting NCAA Midwest Cross Country Regional on Saturday

CARBONDALE -- - Southern Illinois University will host the NCAA Midwest Cross Country Regional on Saturday, with the men's 10K race starting at 10 a.m. and the women's 6K race starting at 11:15 a.m.
The SIU course is located on the far south end of campus, next to Abe Martin Field, just southwest of the SIU Arena. The course is rolling, on grass, and flats or spikes may be worn.
30 schools will be competing in the event, including: Bradley, Chicago St., Creighton, DePaul, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Illinois, Illinois State, Illinois-Chicago, Iowa, Iowa St., Kansas, Kansas St., Loyola-Chicago, Minnesota, Missouri, UMKC, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Oral Roberts, Saint Louis, Southeast Missouri St., Southwest Missouri St., Tulsa, Western Illinois and Wichita State.
