All-Century linebackers announced

CARBONDALE, Ill. - In celebration of 100 years of SIU football, Saluki Athletics continues to reveal the roster for the SIU All-Century football team with today's announcement of the team's five linebackers.
The All-Century team linebackers are Fabray Collins, Brandin Jordan, Carl Mauck, Marion Rushing and Bart Scott.
Collins is Southern's all-time leader in tackles with 443 in his career. He also played one season in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings.
Jordan was a consensus First-Team All-American in 2009 and an Honorable Mention All-American in 2007. He earned All-Conference honors in each of his four seasons, including first-team honors twice. Jordan is fourth on SIU's all-time list with 370 tackles, fifth with 36.5 tackles for loss and 20th with 11.0 career sacks.
Mauck is a member of the Saluki Hall of Fame and enjoyed a successful 13-year NFL career. He was later an offensive line coach for numerous teams in the NFL before returning to SIU to coach the Salukis.
Rushing is also a Saluki Hall of Famer and went on to a strong, 10-year NFL career. He was a three-time First-Team All-Conference selection with SIU.
Scott is in the Saluki Hall of Fame and recently completed an 11-year NFL career, which featured a Pro Bowl selection in 2006. He was an Honorable Mention All-American in 2001. In addition, Scott made one First-Team All-Conference team and had one Honorable Mention All-Conference selection. His 352 career tackles are seventh all-time at SIU, and his 29.0 tackles for loss rank 10th.
On Thursday, the All-Century defensive backs and utility players will be the next positions announced.
