Du Quoin native Jacqueline Crain has worked on the support staff for Saluki Football since 2021 and currently serves as the program's graduate assistant, responsible for operations and on-campus recruiting.
Her job duties include planning and executing recruiting events, coordinating team travel, organizing summer camps, overseeing team volunteer programs, filming practices and games and publishing to DVSport, and managing team countable hours in accordance with NCAA policies.
Crain earned her undergraduate degree from SIU in 2024, and her distinguished academic career includes winning the Sport Administration Student of the Year award, as well as the Elaine Vitello Women's Leadership award.
"I've known Jacqueline for a long time and she's done so much for our program," head coach Nick Hill said. "She's worked here as a student, works alongside Chris with operations, she leads our FCA. I think everybody sees how hard she works and how she makes our program better."
